The engagement
What we did
The Center for Public Safety completed a comprehensive space needs assessment and program development for a new emergency services complex in Lincoln County, Missouri. The study was conducted in collaboration with county officials, emergency services personnel, and key stakeholders, and determined both current and projected space requirements for Lincoln County Emergency Services. Based on that assessment, CPS proposed a facility spanning approximately 20,079 square feet. The complex design incorporates a consolidated 911 dispatch center, a versatile central training room convertible to an Emergency Operations Center, and dedicated space for the Emergency Management Agency. Recognizing that the facility supports around-the-clock staffing, the program includes essential common areas and the facility support spaces necessary to sustain 24-hour operations. The objective throughout was to help Lincoln County strengthen its emergency response capability, improve public safety, and build a more resilient community by enabling close coordination among the emergency services agencies that would share the complex.
